This luxurious villa is quietly situated in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes . Enjoy tranquillity, beautiful scenery and taste traditional homemade products like wild stew, “advocat” liquor , soup and ice cream from the farm. A fully catered breakfast or lunch in a beautiful location is also possible.
The space
The living room has a comfortable sofa and easy chairs where you can relax and enjoy the crackling fire.
The dining area with a large dining table provides access to the spacious kitchen and terrace. In the utility room a washer and dryer. The ground floor has underfloor heating. First bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with tub and shower and a separate toilet.
1st floor:
From the stairs in the hall you will reach the first floor where the bedrooms are located, accessible via the vast corridor :
Bedroom 2 and 3 have a double bed and a cot.
Bedroom 4 has a double bed and is next to the bathroom.
Bedroom 5 has a double bed and a bunk bed.
On the landing is a study area with desk and recliners. There is a bathroom with a bath, double sinks and a toilet.
Outside:
On the spacious terrace you will find a dining table, a barbecue, the jacuzzi and sauna. The garden has no less than 4 hectares. Two beautiful ponds with Lotus flowers and inhabited by two swans. The children can have fun in the goblin forest.
Just around the corner are the famous tourist places La Roche and Houffalize. The Ourthe River offers kayaking and rafting and there are several hiking and mountain bike trails. Visit the Achouffe Brewery , known for her blonde specialty beers.

We had a very pleasant stay at De Koffiekan. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and exactly as described, and the location is truly stunning—quiet, scenic, and ideal for a relaxing break.
Communication with the owner was clear and professional throughout, including around practical matters such as the security deposit. Overall, a well-managed property that worked very well for a family stay.
Downsides
Not really a con, but something to be mindful of: extra costs can vary depending on usage, so it’s best to be very precise and aligned with the owner in advance and at check-out.
My suggestion to future guests is to think ahead about any potential extras and discuss them upfront. Ewoud is attentive and clear in his communication.
