Monflanquin is in an area with a rolling landscape that is often compared to Tuscany. The village is one of the most beautiful bastides in the region. With its central square surrounded by arcades on which you will find terraces and restaurants. In the surroundings you have many things to discover like the castle of Biron and Bonaguil, other medieval bastides like Villeréal, Issigeac, Monpazier, and many others. An afternoon to taste the different wines of the region or to go for a canoe trip on the Dordogne are part of it all.
