Jake is a cosy chalet which feels like home. Located on the edge of the forest, with endless trails in the mountains and it’s only a few minutes away from the ski slope. This unique location provides a perfect blend of tranquility, nature and a wide choice of activities in Gerardmer and the surrounding area.
There are two identical chalets on the property, both accommodates up to 6 people. The chalets are situated in the most peaceful part of Gerardmer and if you follow the trail to the top, you have a panoramic view of the area.
The space
Ground floor:
The living room / kitchen with a dining area. The kitchen has an induction stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and Senseo coffee machine. There is a fondue and raclette set available. The living room has a sitting area, TV with DVD player, a fireplace and a Wii console.
The first bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom has a luxurious shower (with light and music), a sink and a towel radiator. The washing machine is available as well as a drying rack and ironing board. There is also a separate toilet.
1st floor:
Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a cosy sitting area and a computer and an adjoining balcony with two chairs.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and a cot. There are toys for the children such as a mini billiards and board games. There is a security door at the top of the stairs to ensure the safety of the little ones.
There is a separate toilet with sink.
Outside:
The adjoining terrace has a table and a barbecue. Around the chalet you can find a beautiful garden with playground and a basketball hoop. You incidentally has a fantastic view on the natural environment. There is a storage room for bikes and ski equipment.
In the winter you can walk to the ski bus that transports you free to the slopes. There are floodlit slopes, making it possible to ski at night. Within 2 kilometers you will find a cinema, casino, bowling, skate park and several restaurants on the lake.
With a Family Pass (€ 115 / person), you have unlimited access to some facilities at the ski resort of Gérardmer. So you can use a heated pool, sauna, ice skating, bowling, the toy library and media center.

Downsides
In de woonkamer is een salon voor max 3 personen . Wat krap met 4 personen moet 1 iemand ongemakkelijk zitten op een stoel.
