Holiday home Croix du Pin is in Chambarel , a picturesque hamlet near Allegre and St. Paulien. Previously an old farm, but has been completely renovated into a great home with heated pool.
The space
The cosy kitchen is fully equipped and has a bar and dining table. The living room has two dining areas and a cosy sitting area with TV (Astra channels ) by the fireplace. For children there is a play area and two highchairs are available.
The conservatory has a sitting and dining area and a sliding doors to the front garden. There is plenty of space for an airbed. The ground floor bedroom has two single beds. Adjacent bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
The garage is at the back of the house, a shed is located at the front of the house.
1st floor:
The first floor is accessible by stairs on either side of the house. There are two bedrooms :
The first bedroom has a double bed and one single bed.
The second bedroom has a double bed and two single beds.
In the hallway is an open space, separated by a which can be used to host additional air mattress. There is also a bathroom with a bath, a shower, a double sink and a toilet.
Outside:
The living room has patio doors to the terrace with garden furniture and parasols. A large garden with heated swimming pool (11 x 4m, opened from June) and a terrace with sun loungers.
There are several swings, a bowling alley and a tennis table. In addition there are three bikes which you can use.
Le Puy-en-Velay is within a half hour drive. This splendid city has a unique location with many attractions. Visit the historical centre and stroll through the picturesque streets with nice shops.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous réservons cette maison de caractère pour passer un weekend entre amis. Le jardin est grand et sans vis a vis. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et du terrain de pétanque (qui mériterait un petit entretien). La maison est fonctionnelle, la véranda est un plus pour profiter le soir ou en cas de pluie. Parfait pour se retrouver ! Les commerces ne sont pas loin et la région est très belle pour ceux qui veulent visiter. Merci au gardien !

Nous avons passé un super moment entre amis.
La maison est très grande, bien agencée et bien équipée. L'extérieur est parfait pour les activités : le terrain de pétanque à l'ombre a été très apprécié, la piscine également (elle est grande et nous avons pu nous baigner fin mai). Le soir, nous avons pu profiter de la véranda. L'endroit a beaucoup de charme et on se sent bien. Le hameau est calme, pas de vis à vis et tous les commerces à 5 minutes.
L'agence a répondu rapidement à nos questions et nos demandes, et le gardien du gîte a été très sympathique.
Downsides
Nous avons trouvé le gîte mieux que sur les photos. Les photos du gîte ne reflètent pas tout le potentiel et le charme de la maison !

Très belle maison, agréable pour les séjours entre amis ou famille. Il y a de la place pour chacun et l'extérieur avec la piscine, le tennis de table et le boulodrome est très agréable. Proche du Puy, ville magnifique!

Tres grande maison, confortable et propre. Dans un hameau calme entouré des champs et des forêts ( bons commerces à St Paulien ). Piscine est superbe. Tout est parfait pour les vacances avec les enfants.

Ruim huis, veel verschillende kamers en ruimtes. Heerlijk zwembad in ruime tuin. Veel Nederlandse boeken en speelgoed kinderen aanwezig. Rustige omgeving. Le Puy en Velay op 20 minuten rijden, een prachtige middeleeuwse stad.
