The Livradois-Forez is a wonderful place, holidays are an exchange with nature, with the history of churches and castles. Enjoy the peaceful setting of Chalet de Merline and get acquainted with this wild and unspoiled part of Auvergne.
The space
The chalet will offer you all the comfort of a new built house. There is a living room with dining table, sofa bed and a wood stove. A well equipped kitchen with induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and a filter coffee maker.
One bedroom with double bed. A bathroom with shower and sink.
1st floor:
Landing with sofa and double bed. One bedroom with double bed. Secured kids play corner.
Outside:
Spacious park of 1200 m2 entirely enclosed, ideal place to play for the children. Enjoy the garden with aromatic plants: chives, oregano, mints, sarit, coriander, thyme, rosemary, tarragon and tomatoes. The is reserved for the collaborative plantations of our hosts - each one can plant one or several plant(s) and see them growing during the different stays.
There are lots of outdoor activities sush as hiking trails, mountain biking, horse riding or the train that brings you to the top of the Puy de Dôme. Have fun with the children in the theme park "Parc Vulcania" or visit the house of Fourme d'Ambert.

Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk rustige omgeving, zeer mooie natuur.
Downsides
Alle brochures zijn in het Frans. Het zou fijn zijn wanneer er ook brochures in het Engels aanwezig zijn.
Verder hadden wij het leuk gevonden en zeker een toevoeging om een vuurtje te kunnen maken in een vuurkorf of te kunnen bbq-en in de tuin. Er was alleen een gourmet plaat aanwezig. Minpuntje: ontzettend veel wespen en muggen in- en rondom het huisje.
