This cottage in Burgundy is located in the attractive centre of the village of Charny and owns its name to the old railway line. To Paris, it’s exactly 148 kilometres.
The space
A large living room with a cosy seating area with fireplace, which can be turned. An American kitchen with a cooking island. A dining area with dining table.
There is a chair for young children available. And there is a separate toilet.
1st floor:
Two bedrooms with double beds.
The third bedroom has a bunk bed and a cot, there are toys in the room.
Outside:
There is a shared garden with the house of the owners, where two tame rabbits Gaspard and Marius roam loose. There is a screened porch with garden furniture and a barbecue.
Note: In the garden, the WiFi works fine, but in the house the signal is weak.
Every Sunday there is a typical French market, with a cheese vendor selling delicious local cheeses. There are two noteworthy restaurants (closed on Monday). Nearby you will find the vineyards of Chablis, Sancerre, Côtes d' Auxerre and Vezelay.

Les propriétaires sont charmants. Notre séjour a été riche en échanges et découvertes.
La maison est très agréable ainsi que le jardin que nous partageons avec les propriétaires.
Tout l'approvisionnement se trouve à Charny même. Il n'est pas nécessaire de prendre sa voiture.
Downsides
Le WIFI fonctionne moins bien dans la maison que dans le jardin. Pas de soucis dans le jardin.
